The client’s first home, the brief was to open up a restrictive ground floor plan and maximise the potential of the modest two bedrooms above.

Following the addition of a rear extension, the ground floor has been opened to the garden, flooding natural light into the heart of the home. Thoughtful reconfiguration and introduction of bespoke furniture, results in a house full of character and bright social space, with clever storage solutions improving day-to-day living.

We designed and detailed handmade joinery elements in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms to provide attractive furniture pieces that offer intelligent versatility.

A palette of complimentary and tactile materials, including plywood and brass fittings alongside refurbished historic floorboards, create a sense of warmth and demonstrates quality craftsmanship.
